Bucerius Governance Talks -
Brussels (May 26-29, 2005)

On the eve of the French referendum on the treaty establishing a European constitution, 22 alumnae and alumni gathered in Brussels to discuss Europe’s role in Global Governance. Highranking speakers like Jamie Shea (spokesperson for NATO), Jeremy Kinsman (former Canadian ambassador to the European Union), Robert Cooper (Director-General for External and Politico-Military Affairs of the Council of the European Union) and Gareth Evans (CEO of International Crisis Group) offered first-hand-informations on European politics to the plenum.
